Journalist, editor and digital media publisher, with twenty years spent chasing stories across print, television and the open web.
I've spent more than two decades in Bangladeshi journalism: reporting, writing, editing and eventually publishing. I started in newsprint in 2005, moved through television media operations, and now run ENEWSUP.COM as Editor-in-Chief & Publisher, where I handle editorial planning, digital publishing and newsroom operations day to day.
My own byline work leans toward investigative and public-interest reporting: organised crime, urban security, social issues and editorial writing, alongside long-form feature and travel essays on the side.
Alongside ENEWSUP.COM, I run a separate content and editorial service: writing, editing and digital PR support for businesses, professionals, podcasters and organizations. Built on the same newsroom judgment, applied to client work.
An in-depth English feature tracing the historical development of Dhaka's criminal underworld and the rise of the country's most notorious figures.
A long-form look at Mohammadpur's changing social and security landscape, and the rise of gang culture in one of Dhaka's most historic neighbourhoods.
Revisiting the government's 2001 list of 23 top criminals and how Bangladesh's organised-crime landscape has evolved since.
Journalism should be accurate, responsible, independent and useful to the public.
Strong journalism goes beyond headlines. It gives context, examines facts, asks meaningful questions, and helps audiences understand the issues affecting people and society.
